Overview:
Please join us in providing a better world for our animals:
  • Adopt from us to make space for another
  • Enjoy and participate in our fund raising events
  • Contribute money and supplies so that one day a new, larger facility can provide safety to more area animals while they recover from an injury or just need a new home
Why are we different?

Annually, approximately 8-10 million animals enter shelters because of various situations. Their owners can no longer care for them, military service or personal circumstances are just some of the reasons.

Annually, 4-5 million animals are euthanized.

We are a "No-Kill" shelter which means that animals entering our facility are not euthanized due to lack of space. If an animal is deemed and remains healthy and adoptable, it will stay until it is adopted into the community.

We believe that no animal should be euthanized due to lack of space.
County run shelters must accept all animals that enter their doors because they are funded through tax dollars. We must raise 100% of our funds annually and animals entering our shelter come in through an appointment system. When one is adopted, another comes in.
